The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces team played their final game of the regular season this weekend, beating the Waterloo Ravens and solidifying first place in their respective division. The Aces finished their regular season off with a display of skill and team work that the coaches have instilled in them throughout the season. Ava Neumeister had the honours of starting between the pipes and as we have consistently seen throughout the season, she played an excellent game stopping all shots when called upon and recording yet another shutout to add to her already awesome stats. The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces had two games this weekend; first against the Waterloo Ravens the second against Huron Heat. The Aces vs Ravens game was played at the Duff on Saturday. Neumeister got the nod for this game, her first game back from being down and out with the flu, but you couldn’t tell, she played an excellent game denying all 14 shots except one that snuck its way through early in the third period. The Taylor Fluid Systems Peewee BB Aces played an out of the ordinary exhibition game on Tuesday evening against the London Devilettes (minor) Peewee A team. The Aces would have their work cut out for them as they were missing two forwards, a defense and one of their two goalies to the flu. The Aces pulled up Deirdre Parsons and Stephanie Tsaltas to help out with the battling duties; and a huge help they were. Sloan Cameron was between the pipes for this game; not only because it was her turn but also because she was the only goalie not sick. Cameron played an excellent game making key saves to give the Aces the eventual win. Read More

The Taylor Fluid Systems Peewee BB team traveled to Fergus on Sunday to battle the Grand River Mustangs for the fourth time this season; going into the game with a 2-0-1 record. Ava Neumeister got the nod to start this game and as per usual she was keen, focused and on her game stopping all shots that came her way. The Aces started the game strong keeping the shots against to a minimum and testing the Mustangs goalie with multiple good scoring opportunities. Read More
