Taylor Fluid Systems Peewee BB, U13, 2019-2020 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces had a busy weekend playing four games in four days starting Thursday night. Out of the four games the Aces played Huron Heat three times and the South Huron Sabres.   The first game of four was played on Thursday night against Huron Heat. This was the first game in the final round for the LLFHL. Sloan Cameron was between the pipes this game and did not make a mistake as she recorded another shutout.

The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces battled Huron Heat in our home barn on Saturday for the second game of the Provincial playdowns; first game against the Heat. Ava Neumeister was between the pipes this game and as per her usual self, she played a fantastic game. Neumeister seen 18 shots throughout the game and stopped all but one fluky goal that spoiled her shutout with only three seconds left in the game.

The Taylor Fluid Systems girls headed to Woodstock on Friday evening to battle the Wildcats in game two of the second round of the Lower Laker Female Hockey League playoff series. The Aces were looking to win this one to move on to the final round against the already decided Huron Heat. Sloan Cameron was back from being on the disabled list and was keen for the coaches to give her the nod; and that is what they did.

The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces played their first Playdown game for Provincial qualifications on Saturday against the familiar South Huron Sabres. The Aces battled hard throughout the game out shooting the Sabers 22 to 7, and as a result of the continued pressure they were rewarded with a 3-1 victory. Ava Neumeister was between the pipes for this game and had a solid performance only letting one squeak by her late in the third period.

The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces played their first two games in the LLFHL playdowns this weekend (best of 3 series) beating the Waterloo Ravens two straight to move to the next round. Both games being solely of skill and hard-fought battles. The only way any player got on the game sheet was from goals or assists; there were no penalties called on either team through both games. Ava Neumeister got the nod for the first playoff game of the season. Neumeister was solid in net stopping all but two shots that came her way.
