General Information:

Spring Tryouts - for all Rep teams:

To attend our spring tryouts for any of our Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget teams simply fill out the online Tryout Registration form at  2017 Tryout Registration and bring your non refundable tryout fee to the first tryout. Formal registration will occur after players have been selected for a team and instructions will follow.

The  Tryout fee is due at the first tryout. No exceptions. Tryout fee for all teams is $60 (non-refundable).

Players will not be allowed on the ice without paying the tryout fee. There are no discounts of the tryout fee. Players are guaranteed the first 2 scheduled tryouts at which time tryouts for the second team will commence.

We encourage anyone interested in playing Rep hockey to attend the first tryouts as the number that attend may determine whether we will field a second rep team in each age category. If you are not attending the 1st tryouts but wish to tryout for a second team please complete the online Tryout Registration Form and email your intent to the Director of Player Development, Jason Clark at [email protected]

Coaches of the second teams will be present at the first team tryouts.

If you are selected for a team you will be given instructions for registering and providing your registration payments.

Please review policies that are related to Rep Team Registration Fees at  Policies (Registration Fees & Refunds)

Players coming from another centre MUST bring a signed Permission to Skate form from their home centre AND complete the online Tryout Registration Form. A copy of the birth certificate will be required if the player is selected for one of our rep teams.

All teams will be finalized in the spring. Once a player has been advised they have made a rep team you will need to register online through IT Sportsnet at Online Registration. A mandatory parent meeting will be held shortly after team selection and all registration fees (including postdated cheques) as well as the $300 fundraising fee will be collected at that time.

Stratford Aces Association Fundraiser

In an attempt to keep registration fees as low as possible, and to eliminate the need for multiple team fundraisers, the Stratford Ace’s Executive is proud to announce a new streamlined, association wide fundraiser. In the past, teams have been responsible for paying for many expenses themselves, which typically meant, multitudes of individual team fundraising, or parents having to pay more money out of pocket. Additional team expenses may be incurred (extra ice, extra tournaments etc), however these must be voted on and approved by the parent group before spending, and all extra costs will be divided equally between all players.

Please refer to the link What do my Rep Registration Fees pay for?

A Single Organization Wide Fundraiser:

All players are responsible for purchasing three books of ten raffle tickets to be sold at $10.00 per ticket.

Each ticket sold will be entered into a draw mid-season for some fantastic prizes. Prizes may total up to as much as $10,000.00 in Value.

For every 10 tickets a Player sells beyond the 30 required, her name will be entered into a Players only draw for some Great Prizes.

Parents will submit a check for $300.00 post-dated for November 30, 2017 at the spring parent meeting to cover the cost of your fundraising tickets. The tickets will be given to each Player/Parent when we start in September to sell. You keep the money from the 30 tickets you sell.

The Fundraiser will be managed and administered by the Stratford Ace’s Executive and aside from the Annual Stratford Aces tournament, will be the sole fundraiser allowed by members of the Aces organization. By doing this the Ace’s Coaches, staff, and Managers will have more time to focus on their teams, rather than fundraising projects.

Payments for all rep teams will be collected at the Mandatory Parent Meeting. NO player will be added to a roster until all payments have been received.
