Rep Program 2018/2019

Our Rep program consists of teams from Novice to Midget and depending on numbers an Intermediate and Senior team. Our rep teams compete in either the Lower Lakes Female Hockey League (LLFHL) http://llfhl.ca/ or the Western Ontario Girls Hockey League (WOGHL) http://www.woghl.com/

Tryouts for all of our Rep teams occur in the spring, several days after the Provincial Championship Tournament. The tryout fee for all Rep teams is $60 and is non refundable.

Our rep teams practice 1-2 times per week. There are some weekday morning practices at the Novice, Atom and possibly Peewee age levels. Bantam and Midget teams do not have morning practices. Teams typically play 1-2 games per week as well. Our ice starts in September and continues until teams are eliminated from playoffs or playdowns in March.

All teams that qualifiy for league or provincial playoffs receive additional ice time up to their Final weekend.

Rep costs are outlined on our Rep Team General Information page.

We host the Stratford Aces Festival Cup Challenge Tournament each November. This event is our major association fundraiser. All teams and parents are expected to assist in some way.

House league Program 2018/2019

UPDATE May 24, 2018 - DUE TO EXTREMELY LOW REGISTRATION NUMBERS THE STRATFORD ACES REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT WE WILL NOT BE RUNNING HOUSE LEAGUE DIVISIONS THIS YEAR.

Our Houseleague program consists of teams from Novice to Intermediate and are dependent on registration numbers. Our teams compete in the Kitchener Local League http://www.theonedb.com/Leagues/1003/Kitchener-Local-League/

House league teams practice once a week and generally play one game per week in Stratford or out of town at centres within the Kitchener Local League. Our league starts the first week of October and runs until mid March. Midget and Intermediate houseleague teams only have practices until Christmas after which they only play games.

House league teams have the option of entering tournaments during their season if interested. Additional specialized skills clinics are provided to the younger house league age groups.

House League costs are outlined on our House League General Information page.
