Aces blank the Sabres
The Taylor Fluid Systems Peewee C Stratford Aces continued their
road trip with a stop in Exeter to take on the South Huron Sabres. Coming off a high-energy win against the
St.Mary’s Rock on Friday night, Coach Chris decided to once again field the new
look line up.
The Aces squad responded with a high tempo game featuring crisp tape to tape passing and aggressive puck pursuit.
Making a switch from defense to forward, Rowan Aitken enjoyed a career game as she recorded her first hat-trick of the season. Stephanie Tsaltas, starting her second game on defense, also chipped in on the score sheet.
Ava Neumeister was solid in net, recording another shutout as the Aces shutdown the Sabres 4-0.
The Aces return home on Sunday to host the Sabres in the second game of the home and home series. Puck drops at 5:45pm.
