TFS P-BB win back to back in different decades
The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces traveled to battle the South Huron Sabres for the last game in 2019. Slow out of the gate the Aces found themselves down by one just 48 seconds into the first period. After the Aces squirted some water in their faces to wakeup, they decided it was time to play, and responded by scoring the next three consecutive goals.

The first goal was a couple minutes later by Lauren Leis assisted by Aveleen Flood. That would finish off the first period1-1. The second period would see Josephine Jarmuth score two goals; first one unassisted, the second assisted by Grace Laverty. With 30 seconds to go in the second period the Aces got into a little penalty trouble and found themselves with two players in the box reflecting on their previous actions. The third period started 3 on 5. With approximately 30 seconds left in the first penalty the Sabres scored to bring them within one. A couple minutes later the Aces found themselves shorthanded again but this time they were able to kill the penalty off to keep them up by one. Aces fourth goal was scored by Olivia Van Straaten assisted by Paige Campbell who won the battle in the corner passing the puck out to Van Straaten for the one timer. Ava Neumeister earned the 4-2 win for the Aces displaying yet another solid performance between the pipes.

Yesterday, the TFS Aces battled the Grand River Mustangs for their first game of 2020 coming out with the win as well as earning two points to put the Aces in first place in their respective division, with three games in hand. Sloan Cameron got the nod this game and played flawless earning herself another shutout and the “W” for her team. The TFS Aces first goal was scored late in the first period, Anne Nickel joined the rush on the weak side when she was given a nice pass from Josie Walker, Nickel made no mistake firing the biscuit short side past the Mustangs goaltender; second assist awarded to Kylie Fifield. The second goal was scored by Josephine Jarmuth; executing a set play off the first faceoff of the second period she stole the puck taking it into the Mustangs zone and firing it from the hashmarks beating the goalie top cheese-short side. The Aces next goal was scored by Ella Taylor who had taken position at the back door, she was rewarded with a nice pass from Paige Campbell, Taylor made no mistake putting the puck past the Mustangs goaltender to give the Aces a three to zero victory. Excellent start to the 2020 season girls, and coaches!!
