Peewee BB First Regular Season Game ve Grand River Mustangs
Submitted By Mike Rolph on Saturday, October 5, 2019
The regular season has begun!! The Taylor Fluid Systems coaching staff has worked hard to get the girls ready for this game by way of practices – both on and off the ice – and multiple exhibition games. The girls opened their regular season with a home game against the Grand River Mustangs.

The Taylor Fluid Systems girls started their season with a back and forth battle with the opposing team throughout the first. Ava Neumeister started her regular season the same as she has played in exhibition; stellar. The first period ending 0-0. A minute into the second the Aces found themselves killing their second penalty of the game. After breaking up the opponents PP setup, Grave Laverty gain possession of the puck and made a beauty of a bank pass to Josephine Jarmuth who took the puck in to the offensive end and as she did all preseason, firing the puck over the glove of the goalie to give the Aces their first goal of the regular season and the lead. However, while still on the same PK, Grand River found the back door and snuck one past Neumeister to tie the game. Grand River scored one more time in the second to end the period with the Aces down 2-1. The third was much like the second; good battles and excellent saves at both ends. About half way through the third the Aces were battling for the puck in the offensive zone, Kara Rolph gained possession, passed the puck to Devon Taylor who shot from the blue line through the crowd beating the goalie five hole to tie the game at 2 apiece. The Aces had a PP for the last two minutes of the third but could not capitalize. The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces started their 22 regular season game off undefeated and raring to go!!
