The Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice C Aces fought hard against the Lambeth Lancers C during Aces Day action. Milana Verellen opened up the scoring with a long backhand from the blue line that took a funny bounce and ended up in the net. Reese Campbell continued her hard drives to the net and scored on a breakaway. Jillian Rossi made great plays in the neutral zone including a pass up to Mira Broughton that narrowly missed the chance to get on top of the Lancers. Lilly Harrigan was once again phenomenal in net and Ava Langis was a standout on defence clearing the puck on multiple occasions to enable the Aces rush. Ava was awarded the MVP (Ace) of the game.

The Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice C Aces fought a hard battle against the South Huron Sabres. The Sabres opened up the scoring in the first period but the Aces answered back with 2 in the second. The first was a nice one-timer from Mira Broughton on a pass from Reese Campbell. Julia Glitz popped the second goal in from the corner after several rebounds bounced back. The strong Sabres goalie stopped several breakaway attempts from Reese Campbell, Mira Broughton, and Milana Verellen. Leighton Whetstone showed real determination at both ends of the rink as she dug hard for the puck and cleared it up the boards on several occasions. First-time goalie Clara Longston made several good saves to keep the game close which earned her the MVP (Ace) of the game.
