Mira Broughton led the scoring with 5 goals – 3 in the first (1 on a rebound shot by Julia Glitz, another assisted by Clara Longston and the other unassisted). Reese Campbell added another in the first when she was perfectly positioned for her own rebound. During the second period, the defensive squad worked hard to keep the play in the Lambton zone while Ava Langis repeatedly cleared the puck out of their end and Avree Marshall hustled to chase down the puck. Broughton added another two goals – 1 assisted again by Longston and the other with a long shot from the sideline. The defense continued in the 3rd with grit and hustle from Leighton Whetstone, Jillian Rossi holding the line, and Brooke Stairs getting a good shot on net from the blue line.
