Welcome to the 2016/2017 Peewee BB & B Tryouts
Hello all,

Welcome to the 2016/2016 Peewee BB team and Peewee B team tryouts. The tryouts will begin on Sunday April 24 and continue through to Sunday May 1. The goal this year is to ice three peewee travel teams. Peewee A , Peewee BB and Peewee B.

There will be five spring tryouts for PW BB. Involving once practice, one scrimmage and three exhibition games.
Tryouts 3-5 will be invite only. Each player is guaranteed the first two tryouts along with one game exhibition game.
Player releases will be posted on the Aces website following tryout #3 and will continue over the last two.  During the first tryout the girls will be put through some drills and then we will finish off with a scrimmage. Tryout #2 will be a complete scrimmage.

The plan is to have a BB team however we do not want to enter our team in a division we cannot compete at. The final decision of what level we will ice the team at will be made in the fall. It is possible that in the best interest of the team we play at a Peewee B level in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey Leauge.  We will be playing Huron Heat
PWB on Thursday April 21 and North Halton Twisters PW BB on Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1.

The expected time commitment for the girls will be four/five times per week. With 2 practices,1-2 games and potentially a dry land session once a week. We will be starting dry land training in late July and continue through to the start of the season and determine whether this is something we will be doing weekly. TBA.  We will enter four tournaments two over night stays and two local. There is also a possibility of LLFHL championship weekend and OWHA provincials.

Additional team costs above registration usually range from $300-500 which we will fundraise to get back. These team costs cover road trip bussing and tournament fees, etc....

The head coach will be available for any questions regarding the Peewee program or your daughter after the ice sessions. Or you may contact her at 519-276-2105 or [email protected]

As the association announced there will be a third peewee team. Those players that are released are welcome to register with this team and continue with them through the 2016/17 season!!

I would like to thank you for bringing out your daughter to our tryouts and we are looking forward to seeing all the girls at our skates!

Go Aces Go!
