Aces End Road Trip with a Tie
On Tuesday November 1st the Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice B
Aces ended a four game road trip with a tie at Stephens Township Arena against
the South Huron Sabres.
The Aces opened the game in the first period with Ella Taylor finding a clear slot and scoring unassisted. This would be the only goal scored by the Aces but it definitely wasn’t a slow game. The Aces clearly dominated this game with many scoring chances being denied by the strong net minder or the favorable posts to either side.
Strong defensive play was critical today with great performances by Sloan Cameron in net, Lila Mortimer, Rachel Barber and great back checking by Tessa Burdett, Emersyn Miller and Paige Campbell.
Congratulations to Tessa Burdett and Paige Taylor who earned the prestigious Aces of the Game awards for defensive and offensive play.
The Perth Auto Dismantlers will play at home next at the RBC Centre, November 5th at 4pm against the Brantford Ice Cats. Come on out to cheer these Aces on.
