In Game 2 of the Woodstock Wildcats tournament, the Perth
Auto Dismantlers Novice B Aces faced off against the Brantford Ice Cats and
skated away with a 5-1 win. The Aces started scoring early in this game when Payton
Barclay connected a great pass to Tessa Burdett who found the back of the net 1
minute into the game.
With Tessa at the head the Brantford Ice Cats it must have felt like an avalanche was coming at them. The next three goals were all scored by Tessa Burdett with some great assists by Lila Mortimer, Abby Iacobellis and Ella Taylor.
The last goal scored in the game was set up by Lila Mortimer with two sniper shots from the top of the circle, the second shot was tipped in with finesse by Emersyn Miller.
Marta Rintoul was fabulous in net with a number of critical saves.
Congratulations goes out to Tessa Burdett (Ace of the Game) and Cassie Richardson who were voted MVP’s of the game.
