Weekend Losses at Stratford Aces Festival Cup Challenge
It was a tough weekend for The Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces who participated in the Festival Cup Challenge. The girls played two games on Friday and two games on Saturday losing all their games.

Game one on Friday against the St. Marys Rock ended in a 4-0 loss. The Aces started off slow, allowing the Rock to get the lead. They kicked in gear and kept the rock from scoring through the remaining of the second and third periods. Game two against the South Huron Sabers ended in a 3-2 loss. Once again the opposing team scored all of their goals prior to the Aces. The Aces battled back and closed the gap but were not able to turn it into a win. Goals came from Stephanie Tsaltas and Olivia Rau with assists by Lila Mortimer, Mckenzie Parsons and Aveleen Flood.

Both of the games on Saturday saw a very motivated, tough Aces squad. These girls battled hard but were not able to gain a win in either game. Game three against the Lucan Irish ended in a 2-1 loss. The Aces only goal was scored by Mckenzie Parsons on a pass from Olivia Rau. Game four against the Chatham Outlaws finished in 5 – 3 loss. It was another tough one as it was clear that our girls controlled the game, but just couldn’t turn it into a win. Goals were scored by Aveleen Flood, Olivia Rau and Tessa Burdett with assists by Paige Campbell and Aveleen.

The Aces next game is in town, on Nov 28th @ 1:30pm against the B.A.D. Blazers.
