Aces End Final Weekend With Losses
The Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces played their final two playoff round robin games this weekend and ended up losing them both. The Aces, short some players due to March Break, battled their little hearts out but could not put the puck in the net.

Saturday saw the Aces visit the South Huron Sabers. The game was intense for both players and fans with the Aces clearly dominating the first and second periods keeping the game scoreless to that point.  This ended with 4:11 left in the third when South Huron was able score two goals in the time remaining. Our girls were visibly exhausted but continued to battle right to the final buzzer.
Honourable mention goes to Lila Mortimer who did a great job filling in a vacant forward position.

Sundays game was our final of the Season and played on home turf against the St. Thomas Panthers. With a short bench again, the Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces were required to cover extra shifts. They all worked hard but once again could not convert any plays to advance the score. The Panthers only goal came midway through the second. The Aces upped the ante in the third by pulling our goalie to allow the extra attacker on the ice. Unfortunately the game ended in a 1-0 loss. Honourable mention goes to Katie Antonio who was a rock of support on defence. The Aces will play an exhibition game against the Lucan Irish on April 2, 7pm at the Dufferin Lions Arena and will travel to the GTA the weekend of April 8th to compete in OWHA 2016 Provincial Championships.
