Novice Aces Battled Hard
The Stratford Novice C Aces battled hard in their third and final qualifying game against the Lucan Irish in the Brantford Tournament on Saturday night.

The girls went into this game needing a win to qualify for the finals.

They battled both offensively and defensively for three periods and outshot the Lucan Irish, however Lucan's goaltender was solid and determined to stop many shots, which resulted in a final score of 1-1.

Stratford's, Olivia Rau scored the Aces lone goal with the assist by Aveleen Flood.

Olivia Rau received the MVP of the game while Devan Taylor received the Coach's Star of the Game.

The Novice C Aces will resume playoffs against the BCH Ice Dogs in Seaforth on Friday, February 26th.
