Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C, 2013-2014 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

I regret to inform you after much discussion we are going to have to cancel the game tonight.  The forecast still has two warnings in effect and several highways and roads remain closed in the Seaforth area. The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces earned another road victory playing against the South Huron Sabres.  The girls are proving to be tough on home teams winning 6 of their last 8 games as the visiting team.  Strong defensive play by Avery Nickel and and continued pressure by Nicole Hahn allowed the play to be in the Sabres zone for a majority of the game.  Clara Schuster opened the scoring in the first period while Ella Van Bakel picked up a goal working for the puck in front of the net.  The second period started with Belle Houle picking her spot from the blue line.  Anna ...

The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces continue their winning streak earning a victory against the Ilderton Jets 5-0 on the road. Sienna Wildgust turned away 14 shots continuing her shut out streak at 64 minutes. The defence played a great game with Belle Houle building a wall along the blue line keeping the puck in the offensive end. The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces were were victorious on the road facing the Lambeth Lancers. The girls stuck to the game plan and were firing on all cylinders.  Megan Bach led the offence with a 4 goal performance in the game. The Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces finished the 18th Annual Woodstock Wildcats Girls Hockey this past weekend as silver medalists. The weekend started off with a strong 3-1 victory over the home team. Megan Bach put in Stratford's first goal to tie the game at the end of the first period. Anna Tigani scored the eventual go-ahead goal with eight minutes remaining in the third, with Olivia Harding putting the game out of reach for Woodstock a couple of minutes later.
