Team growth at Mississauga Christmas tournament
This weekend the Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces showed resilience and stamina playing five games in three days in the Mississauga Christmas Tournament playing against teams in a higher ranked B division.

The girls earned a spot in the bronze metal game but came up short, losing to the Grand River Mustangs. Although placing fourth, Coach Joe stated "The girls played with heart to the end of every game regardless of the scores, winning or losing".  Unshakable defensive play by Hailey Scott, Belle Houle, Brooklyn Chadwick and Clara Schuster kept the offensive teams at bay while Sienna Wildgust showed courage and confidence seeing and stopping more shots this weekend than she has seen all year. Solid effort by the Aces forwards allowed the team many scoring opportunities keeping the team in each and every game.  Scoring over the weekend was Anna Tigani with 4 goals and Nicole Hahn and Megan Bach with one each. Assisting on the goals were Olivia Harding, Ella Van Bakel, Avery Nickel and Addisyn Reinecker. With five games against strong competition under their belt, lessons were learned that will allow growth and development by all the girls. The Novice Aces are looking forward to taking this experience into their next tournament action in Woodstock this upcoming weekend.
