Peewee C Aces Win Their Semi-Final Game to Advance
The Aces showed up to play on Sunday morning with one of their best games so far this season and advanced to the finals with a 1-0 win over Mooretown.
The Aces displayed some excellent puck possession and passing skills and controlled the majority of the semi final game against Mooretown. A beautiful passing play from Laura to Abby to Deirdre led to the game's only goal. Both Laura and Abby were very strong on the forecheck, as that line spent much of the game in the opposition's zone.
Deirdre was named player of the game for her all around strong play and excellent passing.
Peyton B-K had yet another shutout and made a number of quality saves when Mooretown was able to generate some shots.
