A strong overall team effort propelled the Aces to another win to close out their exhibition season. The Aces were able to overcome a sluggish start and were able to find their legs in the second period.
The Aces again continued to apply a strong, aggressive forecheck and they were able to convert numerous turnovers into quality scoring chances. Abby led the way with 2 goals and a very strong overall game. Rachael scored her first of the season after keeping the puck in the zone on a great pinch. Katelynn also scored her first of the season on a great breakaway pass from Deirdre in the second period.
The Aces defence was solid, limiting the Inferno to very few scoring chances. Peyton also had a solid game in net, makes several quality saves when called upon.
