Romeo Optometry Novice Aces hit the road to Mitchell for their first full ice game against against the Mitchell Meteors.
The dressing room was buzzing with anticipation and excitement as the girls prepared for this game.
The mighty Aces team came out fired up and eager to get on the score board. The Aces had many chances unfortunately they just weren't able to capitalize on these opportunities, losing 3-0 to a strong Meteors team. Sidney Nelemans defended the Aces net with everything she had, keeping the game close and the Aces enthusiasm high. All of the Aces played incredibly well however Hailey Laing's grit and fierce game play earned her the Aces player of the game.
