Cooper Standard Bantam A, U15, 2018-2019 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

An undefeated weekend of 6 straight wins. A team defense allowing only 3 goals against and recording 4 shutouts. A team offense with 20 goals for, with each of the 9 forwards scoring at least one goal. Highlighted by a 7 goal weekend by Penns, scoring a goal in every game, 3 of them GWG. Each player should be very proud of their contribution to the gold medal. True teamwork! Great job Aces!

On Sunday, the Bantam A Aces began their 2018/19 tryout schedule. On the ice before the skate began, the coaching staff introduced themselves to the players. We challenged the girls to believe in themselves both on and off the ice. Three key H words of the day were introduced to the players:

We are going to go ahead with the tryout today at the Allman arena.  I realize we have people traveling from all different directions and you need to judge for yourself whether you can safely arrive or not as the driving conditions vary greatly from area to area.  If you are not comfortable traveling in these conditions please contact me to let me know that you cannot attend.  This in no way will be a disadvantage to any player as the number one priority is for everyone to be safe.
