Notes
Today the Stratford Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice C Aces played against B.A.D. The Aces came out very strong with a number of great scoring opportunities. Finally Mira Broughton ended scoring to the give the Aces the lead. Milana Verellen was on her game, dangling around the B.A.D. players giving her a couple of breakaways but the B.A.D goalie was up to the challenge.
Jillian Rossi played an extremely strong game! She was very aggressive on the puck and did not shy away when making contact with the other team.
Leighton Whetstone played a very “Morgan Reilly” style hockey game carrying the puck end to end with speed and control. She shut down many of the B.A.D. offensive chances. This earned her the "Ace" of the game!
Lilly Harrigan earned herself a shut out in the Aces 1-0 victory. The Novice C Aces next game is Friday in Lucan. Go get them girls!!
