The Stratford Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice C Aces played in Mitchell for the last game of their play-down series . Even with a very solid effort they ended the game with an unfortunate 5-2 loss. Mitchell started off the scoring followed by 2 unanswered goals for the Aces by Reese Campbell and Mira Broughton. Mira, Reese and Milana Verellen were flying out there creating scoring chances that the Aces just couldn't capitalized on. Very strong defensive plays by Leighton Whetstone, Brooke Stairs and Madeleine Nickel kept the Aces in the game. Aces goalie Lilly Harrigan stoned Mitchell on a number of odd man rushes. Madeline's hard work earned her the "Ace" of the game went to
