Just not enough hustle from the Novice C Aces against North Middlesex
The Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice C Aces were out hustled by the North Middlesex Jr Stars C and didn't have the drive they needed to beat the tough Jr Stars team.
The Novice C Aces had a few moments of greatness in the second period when Reese Campbell narrowly missed the post and Milana Verellen's shot nearly beat the Jr Stars goalie with Olivia Willemsen well positioned for the rebound. They just couldn't get the puck to bounce in. Clara Longston made a few defensive plays and showed hustle to get back when the Jr Stars made a rush to the net. Reese Campbell's hustle at both ends of the ice earned her the MVP (Ace) of the game.
The Aces return to home ice next Saturday to face off against the South Huron Sabres HL.
