Team Unity Building in first Road Game in Alymer
The Stratford Novice C aces went to Alymer Tuesday night for their first road game to face off against the B.A.D Blazers C in what was easily the Aces best showing of the year. With Brinlee Wall between the pipes and some strong offensive pressure the Aces scored their first goal as a young team. Pippa Nyenhuis broke through the Blazers defense and beat the Blazers goalie to tie the game early in the first period. Strong pressure from game MVP's Katie Wheal and Reece Flanagan put pressure on the Blazers net throughout the game. Reece's gritty game drew her the Aces first penalty which the Aces killed off with a burst of offence. The Aces dropped some mid game goals that sealed their defeat but the team played well together and are building unity as a group.
