Aces End 2017 on Winning Note
The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice B Aces ended 2017 on a winning note, beating Woolwich 4-1.

On Sunday December 23 the Aces took on Woolwich Wild in their last game of 2017. With it getting close to Christmas coach Paul got the girls excited by comparing our team to reindeer. Santa needs all of his reindeer to pull his sleigh, they all need to work together to help Santa deliver all of the presents. We as a team need to work together to win and be successful. The Aces took this to heart and came out flying in the first period. Emma Van Nes opened the scoring up with a beautiful goal 40 seconds into the first period. At the beginning of the second the Aces kept their strong play going with Eve Binns scoring a juicy fat rebound from a Van Nes shot. In the third period Binns would score another rebound goal from an Emersyn Miller shot. Miller would later come down and put one off the post before going into the back of the net. Woolwich would score one making it 4-1. Ace of the Game went to Eve Binns and Defensive Ace of the Game went to Chloe Rison who had a strong game in net.
