The Stratford Accumetal Bantam A Aces were on the receiving end of a 4 to 0 beating at the hands of the London '01 Devilettes at the Nichols Arena on Sunday night.
Ella Wouters had a good night in net in shutting out 11 of the 12 London skaters. Unfortunately, Cecile Boudreau couldn't stop finding the back of the net and ran up all four London goals. No one has an actual count but Ella must have faced a shot count somewhere north of my age.
There was no shortage of effort on the Aces' part. This London team team is tough as their 10-0 record with 46 goals for and 3 goals against might indicate!!
Other than another page of autographs the only marks on the "Visitor's" side of the score sheet were a result of Brooklyn's constant interference. (Did anyone see what she did?)
