Aces Win Regular Season Finale
The Stratford Accumetal Bantam A Aces won their final regular season game against the Wilmot Wolverines on Tuesday night in New Hamburg.
The game was deadlocked at 2 - 2 after the first period. According to the score sheet Stratford's first goal came from Tarha assisted by whoever #8 was. Then Captain Flantastic got the first of two on the night assisted by Abby who looks to have have a pretty good game judging by the number of 6's under "Visiting Team Scoring".
In the second period the Aces blew the game open with 3 unanswered goals including 2 that were only 17 seconds apart. First it was Abby unassisted. Then it was Flanny again assisted by Jess and Abby. Then Sara scored with some help from Jess.
In the third we let them have one back but then added a pair of goals of our own. Madi and Brook teamed up for the first one. Liv got the last one assisted once again by Abby (1 and 3 on the night? Nice!).
The game sheet lists the final score as 6 to 3 but there are 7 entries under "Visiting Team Scoring". Sounds like someone was confused by that goal in first from Tarha and #8? Any idea who was really involved in this one?
