Peewee B Aces Dull the Sabres
In the first game of Provincial Playdowns the All Equip Stratford Peewee B Aces edged the South Huron Sabres by a score of 1-0.
Emma Ivey earned herself a very well deserved shutout. This one was a goalie shutout at its finest with the Aces allowing more shots than the norm. Ivey faced 23 shots with a majority of those being of high quality.
On a great blocked shot play in the first period Chloe Bannon took off down the left side of the ice and took the puck all the way into the Sabres zone. Bannon took a nice shot on net that the Sabres netminder left a rebound straight out front on. Jessie Hahn jumped on the rebound and put it home for the winning goal.
Game two goes tomorrow in South Huron. Lets go Aces.
