Eliasziw’s Two Pace Peewee B Aces
In WOGHL playoff action on Thursday evening in Belmont the All Equip Peewee B Aces defeated the B.A.D. Blazers 2-0.
Getting back to playing a forechecking style obviously worked as the Aces took 23 shots to the Blazers 9. Keeping the majority of the play in the offensive end of the ice was the result of great team play.
While Emma Ivey did not have to stop many she played very well yet again. The defense stopped a majority of the Blazers opportunities to enter the Aces zone. Offensively the Aces were all over the Blazers defense which kept any chance of a break out to a minimum.
Mihret Eliasziw scored both goals for the Aces. Anika Akroyd-Snider had one assist and Chloe Bannon had two.
One more game in the preliminary round and then hopefully off to the finals.
