The Stratford Intermediate Aces came up short on Sunday vs. the visiting Twin Centre Herricanes, losing a close-fought campaign 3-2.
Goals by Sarah Beluzic (unnasisted) and Laura Vere (from Kirsten Matthews) weren't enough to beat the Herricanes, who now sit in first, as the KW Local League round-robin playoffs winds down. Stratford now find themselves in a tie for fourth with only one game remaining.
