The Best Western - The Parlour Bantam Aces HL team had a tough weekend with a pair of losses. On Saturday they lost 5-0 to a very strong Kitchener Golden Hawks team. On Sunday the Aces lost 4-1 but the score does not reflect the play of the Aces. They played a more aggressive and disciplined game and created numerous scoring chances but could not find the back of the net. After a scoreless first period Wilmot opened the scoring with 2:10 left in the second period. Madissen Daum scored to tie the game early in the third with Katie Gansevles earning the assist. Wilmot replied with the winner 30 seconds later and added 2 more to make it a 4-1 game. Brittany Johnston played great in both games between the pipes for the Aces.
