Schedule & Results, Senior B, Senior, 2021-2022 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

The Stratford Senior B Lady Aces finished second in the SOWHL championship Sunday at the Dufferin Arena. Stratford needed to win by 2 goals in Sunday’s game in order to capture the championship with tie break rules. Stratford scored first when Carley Wouters willed one in after a battle out front. Woolwich replied a few minutes later leaving the game tied at 1 through 1 period. Stratford scored early in the second on a beauty one timer by Kim Schlattman. Stratford was winning 2-1 with a 90 seconds remaining. Needing the 2 goal advantage for the championship, Pethick was pulled. Unfortunately the Lady Aces lost possession and Woolwich nabbed an empty netter. The game remained tied at 2 which left the Aces out of the top spot due to a goal differential tie break. Stratford Lady Aces had another fantastic year and would like to thank all our families and fans for all of the support!!
