The Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice White team entered in to the Festival Cup tournament in the B division looking for some challenging competitors this past weekend. They played four very even games with Branford, Etobicoke, London and Woolwich. The girls are really starting to show improvement with passing, shooting, stickhandling and defensive plays to help out their goalies. Everyone came away with a medal and a smile.

Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice White team put on a goal scoring clinic against St Thomas on Saturday October 19th at the Rotary Rink in Stratford. Coach Stairs told the girls that he was really impressed with their game. Coach Campbell let them know he noticed that they have their heads up and looking to make passes. Both Lilly and Edie played well in goal. With the strength of skating and puck handling on the team, we are looking forward to a challenging game with London Devilettes next weekend to test our skill. Great game played by all.

The Novice White Team travelled to New Hamburg to take on the Wilmot Novice team on Sunday, October 6th. These two teams were very evenly matched. Lilly and Elyn both turned away lots of shots in goal, while the rest of the girls battled hard to get the puck past the Wilmot goalies. Some great passing plays and strong stick handling helped keep the puck in the Wilmot end- at both ends of the rink. Great team work!

The Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice White team had their first official WOGHL league game against Bluewater #1 team. This was an evenly matched game between the two teams. The Aces were making some great passing plays and are getting better at the quick line changes at the 1 min buzzer. Both goalies, Lilly and Elyn had to make some key saves to keep Bluewater from scoring. Great game Aces!!!
