Orangeville Unable to Overpower the Strong Peewee BB Aces!
Written by Kristy Taylor. The Turner Plumbing Peewee BB Aces showed off their skills at home on Saturday November 17th.

The Aces welcomed the Orangeville Tigers to town. The girls were pumped up dancing and singing Christmas Carols as loud as they could! If you haven’t seen or had the opportunity to meet these girls you are missing out on a great bunch! Their positive attitudes shine through both on and off the ice. As the girls took to the ice you could see they were ready for a battle. The first period of the game the two teams were evenly matched, and the game remained
scoreless. The second period Orangeville continued to give the Aces a good challenge until the four minute mark when Alia Poirier slipped one past the Orangeville goalie, assisted by Addisyn Reinecker. In the third period the Aces continued to battle, Charlee Gethke skated end to end after a pass from Victoria Campbell for a beautiful goal. The defense continued to play strong as Olivia Van Straaten scored the Ace’s third goal assisted by her defensive partner Sydney Taylor and winger Morgan Yantzi. The Ace’s let the guard down for just one second and in the last
minute of play and Orangeville managed to slip one in. The final score ended in a 3-1 win!
