NotesThe Novice C Sit Pretty Grooming Aces faced off against Sarnia Jr. Ladies Sting in their second game of the tournament. The Aces played a strong game in both the offensive and defensive zones, however due to some lucky bounces for the Jr. Ladies Sting, the Aces came up short, in a 13-0 loss.
Lucy McFarlane and Madeleine Nickel were strong on the puck, working hard to clear it from the Aces zone.
Julia Glitz and Edie Murray worked hard in front of the net, supporting the Aces goalie, Lilly Harrigan who again stood on her head for the Aces.
Clara Longston showed her strong defensive skills as she and the Aces worked together to keep the Jr. Ladies Sting from scoring on the Aces first penalty kill of the season.
Mira Broughton, Milana Verellen and Avree Marshall all had many scoring opportunities, they just couldn't capitalize on; they were so close to earning their first goals of the season. Avree Marshall’s efforts earned her the ‘Ace’ of the game.
The girls worked hard together and fought until the end.
