Schedule & Results, Dunny's Source for Sports Peewee A, U13, 2014-2015 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

The Dunnys Source for Sports Peewee A Aces finished off a great season playing in the Walter Gretzky Girls Hockey Tournament in Brantford this past week-end. The girls opened up the tournament with one game on Friday against the Waterloo Ravens. The game resulted in a 0-0 tie. Game two on Saturday morning was a little more of a challenge playing the host team Brantford Ice Cats. Brantford scored two goals in the first period but the Aces could not find the net and settled for a 2-0 loss. The Aces needed a win in their third game against the Oshawa Lady Generals in order to move on in the tournament, however ended up in a 1-1 tie to end their season. Goal tenders Ella Wouters and Kayley Thompson played outstanding all weekend. Both girls kept the Aces in contention, making numerous great saves. Abby Gilchrist scored the Aces lone goal for the week-end in game three.
