Atom BB's Stand Their Ground Against Ice Hawks
The Stratford Egg Farmers of Ontario Atom BB Aces traveled to Owen Sound on Sunday, December 21, 2014 for a highly anticipated showdown with the first place Ice Hawks. The Atom BB girls showed no signs of intimidation and raised their compete level to equal the Ice Hawks physical style of play. The Aces scored in the second period and held the lead until late in the third, when the Hawks capitalized with the player advantage. The goal was scored by Avery Wildgust, with the assist going to Reese Reinecker. Notable mentions to defence Lauren Gibb, Jessie Dietrich, and Ashley Hodgon for playing great games.
