Blowes Stationery Peewee 1 HL, 2014-2015, A (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

Michaela Baker recorded her first ever shutout in only her second start in net, as the Blowes Stationery Peewee# 1 HL Aces defeated the Woolwich Wild on Sun. aft. by a score of 2-0. Another terrific performance by the defense corp. led by Savita Brickman- Maxwell, who was the Aces player of the game. Kameryn Hislop opened the scoring with assists going to Madeline Tourigny and Olivia Watts. Courtney Heinbuch sealed the win with the second goal of the game with an assist to Dani Ramseyer.

The Stratford Peewee Aces #1 battled the Wilmot Wolverines to a 1-1 tie during KWLL action in New Hamburg, on Wed. night. The Wolverines were firing on all cylinders to start the game and were rewarded with the first goal. The Aces were not going to be outworked, and kept pressing until they tied it in the third, when Bella Gingerich wired a wristshot past the Wilmot Keeper on a perfect feed from linemate, Kameryn Hislop, who earned player of the game honours. The Peewee HL Aces#1 lost a hard fought battle to the first place Waterloo Ravens, 3-1 on Sun. After falling behind 2-0, Courtney Heinbuch scored on a shot from the point, to close the gap. Stratford kept the pressure on, with the line of Kameryn Hislop. Olivia Watts and Bella Gingerich coming close on many occasions. Savita Brickman-Maxwell and Louisa Mueller were very strong on defense, and Hannah Thomas played well in net.
