Peewee Aces Tie Wilmot Wolverines
The Stratford Peewee Aces #1 battled the Wilmot Wolverines to a 1-1 tie during KWLL action in New Hamburg, on Wed. night. The Wolverines were firing on all cylinders to start the game and were rewarded with the first goal. The Aces were not going to be outworked, and kept pressing until they tied it in the third, when Bella Gingerich wired a wristshot past the Wilmot Keeper on a perfect feed from linemate, Kameryn Hislop, who earned player of the game honours. Madison Haynes was strong in net and the entire team played another strong defensive game, led by Faith Knechtel, and Courtney Heinbuch.
