Notes
The Optimist Club of Downie Midget A Aces suffered their first loss of the season to the Sarnia Sting, 2-1. Sarnia came out strong to score an early goal which seemed to deflate the Aces. Rachel Dotzert put Stratford on the score board with an unassisted hard drive to the net to tie things up in the second. The Sting sank another shot late in the second which was left unanswered. Sadie Nelson was excellent in net making some key saves while facing numerous penalty kills in the third period.
