BANTAM A's SPLIT PAIR
The Stratford Aces, Accumetal, Bantam A’s split a pair of games in lower lakes female hockey league action this past weekend. On Saturday, Stratford defeated Lucan Irish 4 – 1. Grace Fountain led all scorers with a pair of goals. Singles came off of the sticks of Jocelyn Ballantyne and Liv Charette. Erin Kuepfer earned two assists in the match with Faith Flanagan and Clodagh Weber drawing one each. Rylee Kaufman played strong in net for the Aces. On Sunday Stratford fell to the Devilettes in London 5 – 2. Penalties were the difference in the match as the Devilettes capitalized on two power plays. Anna Mohr and Fountain were the goal scorers for Stratford and also earned assists on each others goal.
