Mitchell Tournament Results
Despite a 4th place finish in Mitchell on the weekend, the girls played 4 very strong games. In their first game on Friday, they lost to Woolwich 3-2. Jessica Blowes scored the first goal with the assists going to Jada Kraemer and Madison McKinley. Rachel Nash scored the second goal assisted by Jessie Hahn. McKenzie Dietrich and Victoria Hahn played very well despite being kept off the scoresheet. In the second game they lost a tight 2-1 decision to Ingersoll. Rebekkah Phibbs scored the loan goal with assists going to Jillian Pitts and Natalie Dinsmore.
The third game saw the girls lose 2-0 to Sarnia. Ella Wouters played a strong game in net keeping Sarnia to only 2 goals. In their final game, they defeated Petrolia 2-0. Nash scored the first goal with the assists to Kaeley Dunseith and Sophie Bogdon. Neely Clarke scored the second goal with the assist going to Blowes. Megan Arnold recorded the shut-out. Lauren Steel and Jessica Rae played very well on defence moving the puck out of the Stratford end very well. Great work Girls.
