π Favourite Memory as an Ace: Competing at the 2024 Provincials—a weekend filled with hard work, unforgettable moments, and nonstop laughter with teammates. Even though the outcome wasn’t what they hoped for, the friendships and memories made it a weekend to remember.
π‘ What Being an Ace Taught Her:
Teamwork isn’t just about playing together—it’s about kindness, patience, and trust. Through her years as an Ace, she learned the value of supporting teammates through every challenge and achievement.
π Funniest Team Moment:
As a young Ace, Katie was the smallest player on the ice. In one game, the bench seemed way too tall—so much so that her coach had to lift her over the boards! A hilarious moment that still brings a smile to her face.
π Advice for Younger Aces:
Take every opportunity to grow—on and off the ice. Build friendships, work on your skills, and most importantly, have fun! Resilience is key—everyone falls, but it’s about how you get back up.

Attending Fanshawe College for Early Childhood Education before heading to teachers’ college. She dreams of inspiring young students just like her teachers once inspired her.
