Notes
In game 2, the Aces ties Owen Sound 1-1
In their second game of the day, the Aces came out a bit flat against a team they had beat in regular season play. The game started with a lot of back and forth in the neutral zone with neither team able to assert themselves. However, the Aces started to skate, and Kaitlyn Green looked to put Stratford on the board by getting a great chance but was denied by the corner of the post and crossbar. Not long after Jillian Rossi dug the puck out of the corner and put it out front of the net and a lucky bounce off an Ice Hawk player surprised the Owen Sound goalie and the Aces were up 1-0 on Rossi's goal. Paisley Stevens continued a strong start to the tournament with her skating and stick, keeping the Ice Hawks at bay. After sustained pressure in the Ice Hawk zone, somehow Owen Sound managed to break out and generate a chance to tie the game at 1 by grabbing a loose puck at front and knocking it in. The Aces tried a late press but couldn't find the winner and game 2 ended in a tie.>
