Let the regular season begin!!!

The Stratford Aces BB bantam girls finished up their exhibition schedule with one win, two losses and a tie. In their opening game against a fiesty London team, Stratford started out slow as the team attempted to figure their new linemates. The team gained momentum and was rewarded with a second period goal by Alyssa Eidt. Late in the third London pulled the goalie and capitalized on a power play goal. Moments later London scored again and handed Stratford a tough loss. Game two in London with Stratford missing their regular goalie saw London strike twice early. But Stratford battled back and tied the game up with goals by Zoee Nurse and Alexis Insley. Once again a late penalty allowed London to score a power play. Stratford pulled their goalie and added presure but could finish off their chances losing 3-2. Next up was Bluewater and Kierstyn Hart recorded the shutout and callup Josephine Jarmuth scored for a 1-0 win. In the rematch both goalies were solid as Hart recorded another shutout in a 0 - 0 tie.
