Schedule & Results, Cooper Standard Bantam A, U15, 2019-2020 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

The Stratford Bantam A Aces started their season on a positive note...winning a gold medal🥇at the Markham Starsfest!! The weekend was successful in many ways as the girls bonded and the parents...well... they did too!😉 Winning the first tournament has set the bar high so we are looking forward to an great season of hockey with these young ladies!

The girls were excited to get their season started today in Stratford. First up was the Wilmot Wolverines! The Wolverines were going to be tough as the Aces had handed them two losses during pre-season! They were not going to go away easily!!

The first two periods were scoreless! Mia Morris was holding her own in our net but the girls just couldn’t get the puck past the Wolverine goalie at the other end! Finally, three minutes into the third, Meg Feore with help from Eve Greig solved the puzzle and found the back of the net to put the Aces up 1-0. The game would remain that way until the buzzer sounded and the Aces picked up their first win of the season! A great start, girls!
