Stratford Downie Optimist Midget A Aces traveled to Oakville for 3 exhibition games Sunday as part of an eight team exhibition day. The Aces played a physical style accumulating eighteen minutes in penalties while shaking off the summer rust. The Aces failed to find the net in games one and two losing to Brampton 2-0 and Oakville 1-0. The Aces offence came in game three with a 3-0 win vs Cambridge. The offence was led by Lily Daum scoring twice and Nicole Cosgrove adding one of her own. Kayley Thompson and Olivia Hunt were solid all day in net for the Aces.
