Stratford Aces Midget A Tryout Information
Welcome to the 2017/2018 Midget A Aces tryouts. There will be seven spring tryouts involving two practices/scrimmages followed by five exhibition games. Player releases will be posted on the team website throughout the tryout/exhibition schedule. All players are guaranteed the first two tryouts. Should you attend tryouts after the first two tryouts you may continue on or be released at anytime. The expected time commitment for the girls & families next season is four times per week which includes two practices & 1-2 games. We will enter either three or four tournaments with one or two overnight stays & two local.
In addition to the registration costs for Midget A ($1275) there is also a new association fundraising fee of $300 which all players will pay. Both of these fees will be collected at the parent meeting once the final team has been selected. You will be able to recoup the fundraising fee if you participate in the association fundraiser. More details can be found on the Aces website. There will be NO team fundraising. There may be small additional team costs, however these will be voted on by the parent group and must receive executive approval.
The coaching staff will be available following the ice sessions to answer any questions you may have regarding your daughter or the Midget program.
