Aces battle Guelph and London
This weekend the Ontario Egg Farmers Stratford Atom A Aces hosted Guelph and London.
The girls were pressed hard against Guelph on Saturday which ended in a loss. Mia Morris kept the score closer with a lot of great saves. On Sunday London came to town and as they always do the Aces battled them hard. Sienna Wildgust had a bunch of key saves that helped them end with a 2-2 tie. Clara Leduc once again showed her presence on the ice and her performance was rewarded with 2 goals. Kiara McGregor and Aveleen Flood constant pressure and hard skating got them assists. Unfortunately us die hard fans have to wait till the new year to see this hard working team battle again, but the memories of 2016 will definitely get us through it. Keep your sticks on the ice and your shots flying towards the net girls. We had just as much fun watching as you had playing.
