Peewee B’s Start Playoffs In the first game of the All Equip Peewee B’s playoff season the Aces met the B.A.D. Blazers at Allman on Saturday afternoon. While the Aces outhustled the Blazers they were stymied in their efforts to get the puck past the Blazer netminder. In the first the Blazers went up 1-0 on a fluke goal when Emma Ivey lost sight of the puck in her feet. This seemed to put extra fire under the Aces. They kept up a furious onslaught throughout the rest of the game and in the middle of the third were finally rewarded with the tying goal. Mihret Eliasziw scored on a beautiful pass from Anika Akroyd-Snider. Even with the puck loose in front of the net a number of times late in the third the Aces could not put another past the Blazer goalie. With this 1-1 tie the All Equip Aces are one point to the good for the start of their playoffs.
